Packaging

All settling and filtration units are packed in reinforced wooden crates or steel-framed pallets, depending on tank size and transport conditions. Internal cushioning with foam or shock-proof boards is applied around filter components and motor assemblies. For large-volume settlers (over 1.5m³), modular disassembly and bolt-on protection are used to reduce shipping volume and prevent damage during ocean freight.

Shipping & Logistics

Units are typically shipped via sea freight in 20ft or 40ft containers depending on the total system order. Each product is pre-labeled with QR-coded export tracking and loading sequence index. For time-sensitive orders, partial air shipments for critical filtration modules (e.g. UV or drum filter heads) can be arranged.

  • Port of Origin: Shenzhen / Guangzhou / optional FOB Ningbo

  • Lead Time: 7–15 business days for standard models; 20–30 days for customized builds

  • Incoterms Supported: EXW, FOB, CFR, DDP (upon request)

  • Applicable Regions: Export-ready for Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, EU, South America

Delivery Confirmation & Installation

All shipments include component checklist, installation guide (PDF + video), and basic schematic for system docking. For overseas hatcheries requiring on-site support, remote commissioning is available via video or optional technician dispatch. Bulk orders (3+ systems) can request staggered delivery in line with farm construction schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What’s the role of a settler in RAS, and how is it different from mechanical filtration?
Settlers work as a gravity-based first-stage treatment, allowing suspended solids to settle by reducing water velocity. They're passive but effective for heavy particles. Mechanical filtration, like drum filters or screen filters, captures finer solids actively using screens and backflush systems. Farms typically use both in tandem to optimize solids removal and protect biofilters from clogging.

2. Are your filtration systems suitable for high-density farming environments?
Yes. Our systems are engineered for intensive aquaculture settings. Drum filters can operate continuously with 60μm–80μm screen options and self-cleaning capability. Settlers are designed with internal lamella or baffle plates to maximize surface area while minimizing re-suspension. We've supplied farms operating at >100 kg/m³ stocking densities with stable performance.

3. Do you offer modular units or custom-built configurations?
Both. We stock standard modular units for fast deployment and also offer custom builds with tailored dimensions, inlet/outlet positioning, and flow direction. Clients with pre-existing pipe networks or limited space often request custom tanks. We provide CAD drawings, 3D mockups, and installation consultation remotely for these projects.

4. How do you handle export packaging and delivery for large units like settlers?
For international shipments, all tanks and filtration units are shipped knock-down (flat-packed or in modules) when size exceeds standard container limits. Internal bracing, film wrapping, and steel-framed pallets are used. Most systems are containerized via 20GP or 40HC. We work with freight forwarders experienced in aquaculture equipment logistics, and support both CIF and DAP/DDP terms.

5. What kind of maintenance is expected for your settling and filtration units?
Settling tanks generally require only periodic sludge draining and algae cleaning. Mechanical filters like drum filters need monthly screen checks and lubrication of moving parts. The motor, bearing, and gear box assemblies should be inspected annually. We offer spare kits and O&M manuals with all shipments. For large-scale operations, clients usually keep an extra drum screen in stock.

6. Can these systems be installed in areas with limited power or infrastructure?
Yes. Settlers require no power to operate. Mechanical filters can be powered by compact control boxes (IP65-rated) and are compatible with solar inverters in low-grid areas. We’ve deployed systems in remote hatcheries and floating cage farms where power supply is limited or intermittent.

7. Do you provide assistance during system commissioning?
We support overseas commissioning remotely via video walkthroughs, live support, and pre-marked component labeling. For large-scale systems or government-funded projects, clients sometimes request on-site supervision, which we can arrange with advanced scheduling. All drawings and wiring diagrams are supplied digitally beforehand.

8. How do I know what capacity or type of system fits my farm best?
We recommend clients provide basic data: fish species, daily feed volume, system type (RAS, flow-through), water exchange rate, and site layout. Based on this, we can recommend drum filter size (e.g., 50m³/h, 100m³/h), settler dimensions, and optimal sequencing. We also simulate head loss and return line pressure where needed.
