We recommend selecting based on actual system flow (m³/h) and target UV dose (typically 30–60 mJ/cm² for aquaculture). For example:

  • For 10 m³/h with moderate organic load, a 55W–75W unit may suffice.

  • For hatchery-grade sterilization or viral suppression, go with a ≥90W unit or dual-lamp setup.

Q2: What is the maintenance schedule for these UV systems?

Routine cleaning of the quartz sleeve is required every 2–4 weeks depending on biofouling.

Yes. All YUTANK UV chambers use 316L stainless steel or custom plastic-coated housings upon request to prevent corrosion.
Seal rings are marine-grade EPDM or Viton. For long-term seawater applications, we advise inline pre-filtration to minimize particulate abrasion.


Q4: Are your UV units compatible with other filtration or ozone systems?

Absolutely. Our UV systems are commonly installed downstream of drum filters, protein skimmers, and degassing units.
We can integrate UV modules into all-in-one control panels or link them with oxygen/ozone dosing via sensor relay outputs.
